GrumpyAfter some consoling by friends, I feel much better about this year and have honest hope that it brings more joy and wonderful experiences than 2006. ^^

Once again it's the prime time for getting drunk until you barf, driving drunk and possibly killing yourself and/or someone else, screaming your lungs out at a stupid football play, staying up late until your eyes are sore, and watching a big shiny sphere move at an absolutely GLACIAL pace down a pole until paper flies everywhere.

What is the big deal? Every day, more and more of the O-zone layer is being chipped away by all the carbon exhaust being pumped into the air. Every day, gas prices rise. Every day, people are dying useless deaths in Iraq. Why would we celebrate more of these days passing by...?
In a few days, school will be starting for me again. After January comes mid-terms. Then there's f***ing Valentine's Day, a day on which I will, as always, be alone. A little further down the road comes St. Patrick's Day, and since I don't own one thing that's green, my arms are going to be bruised from all the d*** people pinching me. Oh, but wait! There's more! You can't forget April Fool's Day. I. HATE. PRANKS. Yes, they're funny when you're doing them to SOMEONE ELSE. I, however, do not want anything spilled or sprayed on me; nothing in my food; no tests of my gullibility. It's f***ing ANNOYING.
So, am I happy at all about the coming new year of 2007? F*** no, and with good reason.
